An introduction to Dr. Matthew Hall: Dr Matthew Hall is the Programme Leader for Psychology and Associate Academic at the University of Derby, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has taught on a number of different modules on both BSc and MSc psychology programmes at Arden University and other HE institutions. As an interdisciplinary scholar he has worked on public, private and not-for-profit research projects. He actively publishes, and his research publications have focused on: men and masculinity; men’s body image; substance misuse for body and cognitive enhancement; disability and sexual desires and preferences; online sexual violences, abuses and violation.
An introduction to Dr. Sophie Ward: Sophie Ward is the our Postgraduate Programme Team Leader for psychology at Arden University. She is responsible for the management and academic delivery of the MSc psychology course, and leads the final year dissertation module. She has previously taught psychology at Coventry University, including occupational and business psychology. She holds a BSc (hons) in Psychology, MSc in Occupational Psychology, and recently completed her PhD entitled, ‘Exploring the Sources of and Reactions to Work Frustration in the United Kingdom: Extending Previous Models using Mixed Methodology.’
